LUKE watches lots of YouTube videos on his RoKu Streaming Stick. He does not mind a few ads here and there. However, over the past year the number of them has gotten out of control. Is there any way to block ads on YouTube?
Yes, there are two options . . .
You can subscribe to YouTube Premium for $11.99 per month to watch videos without the ads (with a one month free trial).
You can purchase a Raspberry Pi and then install the Pi-hole App on it. Pi-hole offers network-wide ad blocking and will block most YouTube ads once it is properly configured.
Bear in mind that YouTube is ad-supported. That means their business model depends on selling ads to pay their MASSIVE hardware and bandwidth bills each month. I agree that the ads are out of control but blocking them entirely is not fair to YouTube or the content creators. If you enjoy the videos, then please consider paying for a subscription to YouTube Premium.

ANDREW bought an Apple Cinema Display from a yard sale. The previous owner assured him that it still works. He set it up in his home office but it did not come on when he powered it up. Any suggestions?

Apparently, the Apple Cinema Displays had no power switch! Assuming it still works, then it will come on automatically when you plug it into a computer. Based on your email, you will need a Display Port to HDMI Adapter to connect it to that Dell laptop. Get one HERE.
FYI - Apple discontinued the Cinema Displays in 2011. Generally, it is a very bad idea to buy eleven year old tech from a yard sale. Especially without testing it out first.

WYATT is trying help his uncle, who finally bought a new computer. He was using a PS/2 keyboard with the old computer (Windows XP). He does not like the new USB keyboard and wants to know if there is a way to continue using the PS/2 keyboard instead?
