SARAH is starting a small design business out of her home. She purchased a Dell laptop and is now looking for an alternative to Microsoft Office ($249). Any suggestions?
LibreOffice - It is free, open source, and will open/save documents using Microsoft Office formats.
Microsoft 365 - This is the online version of Microsoft Office. A free account includes 5GB of storage and you can purchase more as needed.

BLAKE followed my advice from a while back and bought a Windows computer with two hard drives in it. Where should he install his programs - C: or D: Drive?
Install the programs on C: Drive and reserve D: Drive for your data. That way if anything happens, you can reinstall Windows without wiping out your data. It will already be safe on D: Drive.

THEO wants to know if his employer can monitor what he does on his laptop? Does it matter if he is off the clock?
Is it a company-issued laptop? If so, then legally yes they CAN and they probably ARE. It does not matter whether you are on the clock.
