Everyone, thanks for your patience. I have been very busy these past six weeks. I know that the Blog and social media updates have been irregular (at best) and appreciate you hanging in with me. Thanks also for all the kind messages.

DAVID AND KIMBERLY are interested in buying a Mac. Any advice?

I exchanged emails with DAVID AND KIMBERLY. They are retired and on a fixed income. Both of them have been Windows users for fifteen years. Their grandchildren finally convinced them to upgrade to a Mac. Based on what they told me their needs are, I recommend getting a Mac Mini. The model that they should get is the "Apple M1 Chip with 8-Core CPU and 8-Core GPU 512GB Storage" ($899). They will save at least 30% on price versus an iMac and can use some of that to pick up a new keyboard and mouse. They already have a very nice Lenovo 24-inch gaming monitor that is only a year old.

JERALD is having trouble logging into his Chromebook. Any advice?

I emailed JERALD for more detailed information. First, we need to verify that he is using the correct password. Try logging into the Google account from another computer. If that fails, then follow Google's Password Reset Procedure. Once you are certain of the password, go back to the Chromebook, make sure CAPS Lock is off, and then log in.

If all else fails, you can always Factory Reset the Chromebook. After that, you should be able to log in with the correct password.

HUWAIDA says her iPhone keeps giving her a "NO SIM" warning every couple of days. Is there a better solution than popping the SIM card out and back in again?

Most likely something is wrong with the SIM card you have. All you have to do is call Verizon Wireless Customer Service to request a new one - 1 (800) 922-0204.
