Windows 10 has a built-in drive cloning utility. You can find detailed instructions here . . .
FYI - Now is an excellent time to upgrade to an SSD. My favorite source for hard drive and memory upgrades is Crucial.

Recently, MARTIN picked up a used Windows 10 laptop from a yard sale. The hard drive was missing so he bought one, installed it, and now wants to do a clean Windows 10 install. Is there somewhere he can download a free copy of Windows 10?
Martin confirmed that the laptop had Windows 10 on it originally, so there should be no problems with activation. As far as I know, a simple hard drive change should not trigger it.
