TYPHNE wants to be a full-time YouTuber. She purchased her gear and set up her channel. Now she wants to know how to get her videos to go viral?
I do not have a YouTube channel but I watch ~2 hours of their content daily. Here are my suggestions:
Make videos that people want to watch.
You did not say what your channel is about. However, if you want to get big then at a minimum you need to produce compelling content. A sewing channel is probably NEVER going to go viral.
Choose your video thumbnails carefully.
A good thumbnail will jump off the page and grab the viewer's attention. It should also reflect the video's content to some degree. I strongly advise against doing lots of clickbait thumbnails. Once in a while is OK but viewers will catch on quickly if you are doing it all the time.
Your channel name, video titles, and descriptions should be simple and easily searchable.
Make it easy for (a) YouTube to recommend you and (b) people to find you with a search. Always be mindful of who your audience is and then choose words meaningful to them to describe your content.
One other thing: Do not put all your eggs in YouTube's basket. It is far too easy for them to arbitrarily demonetize your channel. If that happens, then your money is shut off and you will have limited recourse to get it turned back on. I recommend that you set up accounts on BitChute and Vimeo as well.
