BOYD is trying to send text messages to his favorite radio show with Google Voice. He wants to know why they keep getting bounced back?

The problem is probably on the radio station's side. My guess is that they are using a service that will not accept texts from Google Voice. There is probably nothing you can do about it.

HEATHER wants to know whether she needs to run an antivirus on her smart phone.

I do but I am a belt and suspenders kind of guy! Technically, you do not need to since both Android and iOS are pretty secure. If I remember correctly, both app stores scan apps to make sure they are malware-free before you buy them.

However if you want to have an extra layer of security for that android phone, then I recommend ESET Mobile Security & Antivirus.

SORAYA emailed to ask whether it is possible to replace a laptop battery yourself?

Most of the time yes! First, power the laptop down, unplug it, and flip it over. If the battery is removable, then you will usually see a pair of release latches somewhere. Release the battery, copy down the make/model from the sticker, and then see where you can purchase a replacement online.

If the battery is not removable or some disassembly of the laptop is required, then give iFixit a try. They will give you step-by-step instructions on how to replace the battery. YouTube is another excellent resource for how-to and repair videos. Good luck!
